Designed for individuals, couples, travelers, and photoshoot clients, this experience gives you the opportunity to model a beautifully styled gele while expressing your personal style through your choice of fabric, colors, and overall look. A gele is a traditional, large and ornate head tie or headwrap associated primarily with the Yoruba people of Nigeria, Benin, and Togo. More than a fashion statement, the gele represents identity, pride, elegance, and celebration and is traditionally worn for significant occasions such as weddings, festivals, church services, and other milestone events. Today, gele styling is also popular in Ghana, particularly for weddings, parties, and formal celebrations. Ghana has its own rich traditions of headwrapping as well, including the duku, a traditional headwrap historically worn by Ghanaian women, including among communities such as the Ga people. Kente cloth is also frequently styled as a headwrap, representing Ghanaian cultural pride and heritage. Cancellation Policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy Thank you for booking Gele Styling Creative Experience - Photo Shoot at Fashion Beyond Borders Institute (FBBI). To ensure we can properly prepare fabrics and accommodate all participants, the following cancellation and refund policy applies: Booking Fee: The GH₵500 booking fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. Cancellations 24+ Hours in Advance: Customers who cancel their reservation at least 24 hours before the scheduled workshop are eligible for a refund of the amount paid excluding the GH₵500 non-refundable booking fee. We allow the client to reschedule their appointment within 14 days. Cancellations Less Than 24 Hours: Cancellations made Less Than 24 Hours before the workshop are not eligible for a refund. We allow the client to reschedule their appointment within 14 days. No-Shows: Participants who do not attend their scheduled workshop without providing the required notice are not eligible for a refund. Rescheduling: Rescheduling requests may be accommodated based on availability and are subject to FBB Institute's discretion. By completing your booking, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy. Client should arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled photo shoot time. Once the scheduled booking time starts, the client will only be granted the time paid for. In order to respect our other clients, we do not extend the time if a client is late. Includes: 3 edited images and all raw images. Photos will be delivered in 3 business days.
