This is the concept development stage.
Students will discover and define their creative identity. They aren't necessarily creating finished designs yet.
They explore:
*What inspires me?
*What story do I want to tell?
*What is my aesthetic?
*Who is my customer?
*What emotions should my brand evoke?
*What colors, fabrics, textures, silhouettes, imagery, and cultural references represent my vision?
*What makes my brand different?
*What is my creative direction?
Final outcome:
A Creative Direction Board/Brand Concept that establishes the visual and emotional foundation of their future brand.
INSPIRATION → CONCEPT → AESTHETIC → BRAND VISION
