The Fashion Beyond Borders: Global Study Experience gives international students the opportunity to learn inside FBB Institute while experiencing Accra and developing a deeper understanding of Ghana’s creative and business landscape.

An Immersive Learning Experience

Students participate in hands-on courses and creative workshops at Fashion Beyond Borders Institute (FBBI), located in Dzorwulu Accra, Ghana. The program is designed to complement classroom learning with real-world experiences, industry exposure, cultural activities, and opportunities to connect with local communities and businesses.

Students will have opportunities to explore areas such as:

* Fashion design and garment production
* Apparel manufacturing inside of manufacturer
* Fashion entrepreneurship
* Global sourcing and supply chain management
* Industrial sewing technology
* Pattern making and product development
* African textiles and creative industries
* International trade and global distribution

Campus Housing Included

FBBI provides students with convenient, secure housing located in the same building as the institute. FBBI occupies the bottom floor of the building, allowing students to live just steps away from their classrooms and workshops.

Each furnished apartment accommodates two students and includes:

* Twin beds in one shared bedroom
* Full kitchen
* Living room with television
* Wi-Fi
*Phone for local calls
* One private bathroom with hot water
* Air conditioning
* Complimentary washer & dryer
*Small safes for each student in the closet
* 24-hour security
* Gated apartment complex
* Meal plan included in the housing fee: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Monday - Friday

The housing arrangement is designed to provide students with a comfortable home base while allowing them to fully immerse themselves in their studies and life in Accra.

To provide a more personalized and engaging experience, FBBI accepts 8–10 international students per semester. The small cohort allows students to build meaningful relationships with instructors, classmates, industry professionals, and members of the local community.

Students don't simply visit Ghana, they learn, create, connect, and experience Ghana from within the community.
